I was hoping to maybe get this Fall dress set for Navi listed as well as the blue and pink one, but it’s been so long since I listed anything on Ebay, my photo hosting program had changed the way you upload your pictures and it took me forever to learn how to do things the new way. UGH! Honestly, it took me 2 1/2 hours just to get the blue and pink one listed. (You can see it by clicking the picture at the right side bar.)Needless to say, I ran out of time for the brown one. But I decided I could still show you the set!
No, I didn’t take down the braids in the Lucky wig that she has on in the blue set… This is another wig I had… called Kanawild. I had it for my Millie doll, by Kaye Wiggs. It was a little big, but I turned it inside out and stitching by hand, took up kind of a dart in the back of it. It fits pretty well now. I think little girls look so sweet in long braids… or plaits, as Jane calls them! :o)
I think you’ll enjoy this one, as it’s getting slightly cooler in the evenings now. The brown jacket is made from a piece of wool felt and her shoes are made from some Ultrasuede sent to me from Kathie! Thanks so much!
I think the pictures will tell you all you need to know…
Oh, the chairs came from Susette! Thank you!
Well, I hope you like it… Remember she’s only 6 1/2″ tall… isn’t she a little doll?
I better get Rebecca’s Civil War dress finished next, don’t you think?
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
Navi looks already for fall in these outfits. She’s a cutie.
Thank you Lynn,
Navi really is a little cutie!!!
Blessings, Jeanne
I love Navi’s beautiful Fall outfit. She looks ready to dance and turn a cartwheel or two among the fallen autumn leaves.
You have excelled Jeanne, tiny couture is difficult to get ‘just right’ but you have.
Your eBay listing is very appealing. Good luck with the auction.
HI Jane,
I’m glad you like Navi”s outfit…it was fun to make something so cute and little to begin the Fall season.
I really like “tiny” sewing especially when it’s on a cute doll. Navi certainly is that!!
Blessings, Jeanne
Good to see that you have something listed on ebay again, Jeanne! I guess it Has been a while, if they’ve changed how they do the photos, etc.!
Normally I’m not a brown person, but I think Navi’s outfit is adorable! The print scale is just right for such a tiny little girl, and the accessories are wonderful, too. Her shoes are as cute as can be! Best wishes on your auctions!
HI Charlotte,
It wasn’t ebay that has changed…it was photo hosting program…they decided to “update” things while I’ve been away…ugh!!
Thanks for your compliments on the set, Charlotte.
Blessings, Jeanne
Oh, okay, I understand now….thanks for the explanation.
I, too, hate when they change this just for the sake of change, not wanting to keep things the same, even though they do work better that way!
What a darling little outfit, Jeanne! Every little detail speaks “autumn”! You say that Navi is just 6 1/2 inches tall, and actually on my desktop screen, she IS 6 1/2 inches tall! Now, that really IS tiny, and it shows just how precise and a what perfectionist you are. The colors of the dress blend perfectly with her wig, and those tiny chairs are darling!
The shoes—-how cute, the jacket, gives the outfit a put-together look, and the little hat, so sweet!
I have been getting your blog with no problems and hope it keeps up! Let’s hope it continues!
HI Linda,
Navi does look very pretty in these brown and orangish colors. She has the perfect complexion for red wigs…I’m glad you like it.
I’m glad my blog posts seem to be getting straightened out…I hope it continues for everyone.
Thanks so much, Linda,
Blessings, Jeanne
What a darling and complete ensemble! You do such a wonderful job of sewing for the tiniest little dolls. I do like the brown prints for the small dolls. I made one for Ten Ping and she likes it. The chair is exactly the right size for her.
I can’t believe I got your email for two days but not today. I went into the one for yesterday and clicked on the new post in Recent Posts on the right-hand column. Sad.
HI Susette,
I thought when I sold 7 1/2″ Riley, I saw the last of the small dolls…then I got 8″ Ten Ping…and thought I wouldn’t go any smaller…but here I am now, sewing for a little 6 1/2″ girl…but I’m loving it…
The chairs were exactly perfect for Navi and her bear!
It seems there are still some hiccups with my blog posts…sorry…
Blessings, Jeanne
Navi looks lovely in the brown tones. I love brown. So perfect for autumn. Along with the perky hat, matching shoes, and lovely jacket, she will dance in the woods on the fallen leaves. She is just adorable.
If all goes well, we’re headed up to the cabin Wednesday. Just a long round trip drive to fix a few things and winterize. But, we will probably stop at Ikea in Sacramento on the way back. I’m hoping other person will not balk at my purchase of the sweet bedroom set for dolls just the right size for the Twinkles like Navi. And apparently, they also have a set of wall hooks in the form of little chairs that fit the little ones too. We definitely need some more chairs around here. 🙂
Hope ebay treats you well and you can get this set listed quickly.
HI Joy,
Thanks for all your kind words about Navi’s Fall dress set. Fall is my favorite season so I really enjoyed putting this dress set together.
I hope you manage to get the doll furniture without any trouble…you’ll have to show us what you buy…we ALL love accessories!!
Have fun on your trip…
It wasn’t Ebay that gave me the trouble…it was my photo hosting program. I might just leave it on the Fan Club and see what happens…
Thanks Joy,
Blessings, Jeanne
I received today’s post no problem either. What a sweet little set Navi has on today. Redheads look so good in browns. The matching pantalettes under her dress are perfect. I love some of the autumn colors- brown, loden green and rust.
I am looking forward to seeing the finishing touches on Rebecca’s dress as well.
HI Laura,
I’m glad you liked Navi’s new dress. She looks particularly good in browns I think…
I was going to see if I can’t get Rebecca to make me a new necklace for this brown plaid Civil War dress. She just got home…
Thanks Laura,
Blessings, Jeanne
Hi Jeanne Glad to hear that all went well with the doctor visit, praise God, and that you had a fun trip. Love the outfit on Navi-it’s perfect the colors really go well with her complexion and red hair. She is a cute little doll. Glad you are sewing again. God bless Carole
Carole,
Thank you for the kind comments about Navi’s
dress set. She really is a sweet little doll and so much fun to pose. Everybody needs their very own Navi!!
Thanks so much,
Blessings, Jeanne
Jeanne, Navi looks adorable. She was made to hold that teddy bear! I can see her with a toy chest full of bears.
HI Dorothy,
We had a hard time deciding on a teddy bear…the pale orange one or the beige one we ended up picking… it was a difficult decision… but Navi finally decided on the beige (?) colored one…
I’m glad you like her in this set.. me too! :o)
Blessings, Jeanne
I didn’t get this post either, but I did get the latezt (9/12/18). I noticed that I had missed the post though.
She is so cute and such small work on her outfit. Small is so much harder to sew.
Anyway, I thought I would pop in even though I am late.
Take care —
Oh my she looks just adorable in her Autumn outfit. Love the colors and the print is perfect for her size. She is just way too cute and so happy you now have her for your collection.
I showed her to my daughter and she just sat and looked at her. Her first reaction was “the hair, just look at the hair,” I think I need to get a red wig for one of my dolls.
I can’t wait to see the finishing touches on Rebecca. Browns are just perfect for Autumn.
