I am glad all of you are getting together and enjoying company.
I hope George is doing well and improving.
Gosh I am grateful that you take the time to write the blog and let us know
about your daily adventures. The soup looks incredibly yummy.
I hope the weather has not been too hot.
Here in Northern Virginia (35 miles west of “the swamp”) it is
50º this morning, and now it is up to 67º already.
I am nearly finished with this quilt.
I just have to add the 2.5 inch white border.
This is a lot of white fabric! If I made this quilt again (probably not) I would make the background fabric color with a blue fabric, like the color of denim like this….
I am working on a new project. Making two quilts at the same time since they are the same quilt in two colorways.

They have a zillion pieces and I have them labeled on my usual way of organizing, using clear plastic Chinet plates.
This is my downstairs workspace to keep an eye out on the back porch for Kitty Princess.
I know it is hard. I know all of us understand. You have angels for sisters. I am so grateful for this time you can be together. It really is a blessing.
I had an older sister that died when she was 48 (from smoking/brittle arteries/brain aneurysm) and I miss her every day.
Anyway, I wanted to send you one more photo for an update of my sewing progress on the sewing two quilts at the same time. These tulips are for the lighter colorway quilt top. I Love you and George so much. I wish I could be a sister and enjoy time with you.
