Hi everyone,
I was looking on my phone for something to use for a blog post and didn’t really want to use something you had seen before… and guess what? I found something that will be new to you.
First of all, do you remember this fun sunflower set I made, and Freida modeled? It was bright and colorful and had LOTS of mix and match pieces.
Well, the lady who won it practically begged me to make a set for her Ten Ping doll. She gave me free reign and said I could make it any way I wanted, just from the same fabric. I don’t normally do special orders, but she wanted it so much and at that particular time I was kind of free, so I agreed to make it. This is what I came up with… similar but different.
I never received any pictures of the dolls together, but I imagine they looked pretty cute standing beside each other.
There… a brand new “something” for you today!
Hope you have a wonderful day and I’ll see you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
I read yesterday’s just now, we had a heck of a day. The big freezer in the garage gave out, we had a flat tire on the way to town, sat at the car place of 2 hours to find out they had to order the right tire, went to two grocery stores. We came home and I had to fix dinner, and then I collapsed! I came to write on the blog and someone had cut a line and we had no Wi-fi. it wasn’t fixed until this am and we are out again to work with out lawyer on our new wills, and then hope to get a new tire. Got to run, talk to y’all later!
Wow Sissy, that has to be right up there are one of the most annoying days ever!! I hope today is a complete opposite, filled with success and everything wrapped up and tied with a bow
Well, what a day to forget for sure. Were you able to save the freezer food? Hope so. Sure hope the tire is available today. That is crazy. Wishing you a much better day today. 🙂
Hope you were able to save the food, Sally. That would have made me the most upset of all. We had that happen. I hope today is much better and you get your tire fixed.
HI Sissy,
SO SORRY about your day yesterday… and probably continued into today! Those kind of days wear you out and it seems like you’ll never get back to normal. I hope everything on your list got checked off…and I hope tomorrow is even better than today was.
Blessings, Jeanne
Jeanne, this outfit is a stunner! I love the dress fabric very very much. I love the whole set, and it looks masterfully made. Those jeans, how cute
The little sister dress is so adorable!!
I hope everyone enjoys this sunny day, and no weather drama.
…. or any other drama
What a sweet little outfit for Ten Ping! Leave it to you to do something so nice for someone, and look how adorable it turned out! I do remember that darling outfit that you made!
Oh my gosh, Sissy, what a day you had! Let’s hope you get things straightened out and have no more of those “events”!
Wonder how Anne is doing, since we haven’t heard for a few days now. I hope things are going well!
Out to water container plants now, the sun Is shining today again!
The outfit for Ten Ping is adorable and so nice of Jeanne to make it to match the one for a Ruby Red. That was great fabric for both outfits.
I read Charlottes latest from yesterday just now. So glad she has gotten to see so many of her family and hit some great spots too. I’ve always wanted to see the Henry Ford Museum. I think she may be in the air headed home right now. Happy travels.
I got to the blog late yesterday so didn’t comment. But I could not comment today without saying how much I love Chuffy’s name. He is so adorable. Sorry about the shoe problem Jeanne. Rosemary and Charlotte mentioned Shoe Goo. We keep some handy, but Sean and Dionne swear by it. With five people to keep shod, they need shoes to last as long as possible and Shoe Goo helps with that.
I remember Freida’s wonderful outfit. I’m glad you had the opportunity to share the one you made for Ten Ping. Both outfits are beautiful and I love the fabric. I wish I could see a picture with both dolls and their outfits.
Safe travels to Charlotte. It sounds like her trip was everything she hoped it would be. Hope Anne is doing well in the UK and that her weather has been better. I’d love to send her some of our heat but haven’t found a way to do that. Today so far it has been pouring down rain. It’s supposed to clear up around noon but that will just make the day more stifling. At least with the rain we have cloudy skies and that helps keep the temps down.
Soooo adorable! 🥰 The fabric is so cheerful and your designs are perfect for the dolls❤️
Chuffey is adorable and so glad he has a name now. I also would recommend E6000 for the shoe repair. How sweet to make matching outfits. I really liked the sunflower fabric. Good thing you had more including another of those cute charms.
Safe traveling home for Charlotte and hope Anne is having a marvelous time.
Dear Jeanne, how pretty! Thanks for sharing the Ten Ping ensemble. I am sure the winner was delighted to have “sister” outfits.
