Sorry, but more dolly pictures…

HI everyone,
I am at a loss for what to do… since I know nothing about the technical side of running this blog. I can only use pictures already loaded into my blog’s media library… I hope you find some pictures to make you smile today… maybe this will be fixed soon.

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

    Some more fun pictures!!

Lovng that My Meadow doll doll in her darling pinafore. I don’t recall having seen that the first time around. It’s just darling.

Also loved the towels with funny sayings on them, and the picture of the crying baby. Boy, she is Not happy!! I also like the doll with the long red wigs (by Kaye Wiggs?). She’s so pretty and elegant.

    1. HI Charlotte,
That pink dress with the pinafores of the bunnies and more on it was a dress Sissy made and is showing it on her Mae doll. Isn’t it just adorable… It made me smile when I saw it and added it.

That poor crying little girl… I think that picture should go down in the Hall of Fame for the way it was perfectly captured. I bet most of them like that were destroyed… I just love it and feel for that little girl.

That’s Nyssa in the long red wig and the very bright dress and jacket set. I loved her in those colors. Glad you did too.
      Thanks Charlotte,
      Blessings, Jeanne

Oh, that’s right–Sissy shared that picture of Mae. I remember it, now that you mention it. Thanks, Jeanne, for jogging my memory!

  2. Wow, I loved this bunch! So many treasures. It is good to look back. Perhaps that is the best thing about this situation.
I hope all of you are enjoying nice weather. Here it is pouring rain. I have a lot to do – moving all of my sewing my self. Most of it anyway,.
Last night I crammed my 301A into my car (carefully wrapped in towels)
and two sewing tables. Last week-end I moved my mom’s Singer 316G and that thing weighs a TON!
I hope all of you are feeling good. Hubbs is suffering a bout of vertigo and I have just let him go slow and recover.
We all know “every one gets something” and I am just hoping for all our sakes, the Good Lord knows our limits.

    1. HI Rosemary,
I’m glad you like the pictures from today… it seems to be the only way to keep up with my blog for right now. I’ll be so glad when it all is back to normal again.
We are having really nice weather today… and my hubby is out mowing the grass.
I hope you get all of your sewing stuff moved to your new place… it will be fun to set up your sewing room….one of these days.
I do hope your hubby gets over his vertigo soon… I’m sure you could use his help… Take care of yourself too… don’t do too much in one day… as there will always be tomorrow…
      Blessings, Jeanne

Well, so sorry that photos still can’t be added to the blog, but the fun picture parade continues. I was actually shocked when I saw those Easter photos. Where did I put all of that stuff? It hasn’t surfaced since I probably took the photos. It was fun though making those little eggs with the bunnies inside. And some of my boys in their Valentine shirts. I know those outfits are around here too. Then, as I scrolled down, there appeared a dolly torture device with straight pins holding it in place on her little head. Yikes, that was scary. But, then I discovered that it was the interior elastic for a wig. So glad it wasn’t my first thought.
Around here, we’re hoping that Coco, the cat at the other house is okay. She did not seem herself yesterday. Not meowing and lethargic. Then, disappeared. When we got home, I contacted her owner through Nextdoor, and since she has an airtag, she was going to go looking for her. As of last evening, some pings that she was moving, but no luck in finding her. We’ll go back up this morning to look too. Hope she is found and okay.

    1. Laura in Ohio

Hi Joy, I sure hope Coco is found safe and sound. I’m glad she has an airtag. I won’t even go into how upset it makes me that people who actually own a cat leave their cats outside.
Our neighbors always let their two cats out, sometimes all day and other times at dusk. The one morning the one cat had not returned. They came crying and very upset and of course we helped them look for ages. He didn’t return for two days. I was sure that would put an end to the outside adventures, but no, the next day they were both out again when I went to feed our “porch kitties”. And I get upset when I can’t tick off each porch kitty on a given day.

    2. Hi Joy,
I’m hoping I run across your “tent” pictures one of these days… they were great!
I had to include all 3 pictures of the wig making process so you’d know why it made me smile.
I hope “your” kitty comes back soon and is good as normal.
      Thanks Joy,
      Blessings, Jeanne

I thought those were your adorable boys looking so cute with their bow ties. I don’t remember seeing it before. Glad I had the chance. I laughed at your comments about not knowing where your props are.
I saw your comment of yesterday about the swimming pool. No chance of losing track of that. I know where it is because it’s so darn big I can’t find a good place for it so it’s always within sight when I go into the guest room. If I get around to making swimsuits for my two artistic swimmers, L’il Dreamers Ashlynn and Alora, I will do a swimming pool photo shoot with them doing a routine. That should be fun to figure out how to do. I finally found a pattern for a swimsuit that will fit them. Hope everything turns out okay with Coco. Sean and family have three cats (or is it four) but they are all definitely indoor cats.

Late today, but at least I’m here now! It is a beautiful, sunny day, so I have been outside weeding and just fixing things up in general. So nice to have nice weather to do it in!

Well, Jeanne, these pictures may not be what you have planned, but we are thoroughly enjoying them! Who’d is the lovely lady posing with that darling outfit on Kirsten, that I remember so well? And I spy Cindy at a resale shop, and certainly remember those Princess phones!

Ha, ha, Joy, I wonder the same thing when I see pictures I have taken and forgot that I had the things in them, and where did they go? Are those your three boys in those darling shirts? So cute! Then Jeanne’s pretty china cabinet with her treasures inside, and that poor little girl from the 1860’s! O’. Sure that’s not the only child not happy getting their pictures taken! It still happens!

Bailey is such a darling little doll, isn’t she? That blue outfit looks precious on her, and I love that pink felt jacket on the Helen Kish doll! Just beautiful!

The two shadow box pictures are wonderful! I wish I had the time to make things like that!

Joy, I too, hope you find Coco and that she is ok. And Rosemary, hope your hubby gets over his vertigo. I had it too when I was pregnant, but I don’t think that is his problem!😊

    1. HI Linda,
Glad you are enjoying the pictures I’m having to show… I’m ready to get back to regular posting, but this will have to do for now.
The lady with Kirsten is our very own “Debbie in North Caroline”… who won this set and loved it! I think you can tell that from her smile! :o)
The shadow box was from Kristoffer… I think for Mother’s Day last year. He really does know me… doesn’t he?
      Thanks Linda,
      Blessings, Jeanne

Oh, darling baby birds!! We have some in the arborvitae this year as usual. I know there is a robin as well as a wren and of course my favorite sparrows!! The best year was the spring a robin chose the artificial daisy wreath on the wall by the front door. She was high, dry, and safe. We enjoyed seeing the babies from hatching to fledgling. She even got use to us going out the front door as long as we paused first, did it slowly, and no more than twice a day.
Many great photos- Barbara’s maypole, Sissy darling outfit, Joy’s dapper boys and cute little girl with all the Easter peeps, yes, Cindy with the pink princess phone. My great-aunt had one in her bedroom along with a pink velvet chaise lounge.

    1. Thank you, Laura, for all your kind words about the pictures I chose today… I hope everyone, and you, are still smiling… we’ll all have sore faces at the end of the week, from all this smiling going on… :o)
      Thanks Laura,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  6. Debbie in North Carolina

So many wonderful dolls today that I feel like I missed. Except for the first one – that is me with my daughter’s 90’s Kirsten. She is still my first love in the doll world. Many of the purchases I have made are to compliment Kirsten’s style. Last year it was several Kathe Kruse dolls in alpine clothing. This morning a Ginny reproduction duo in alpine wear. Most of the planets in the doll room revolve around Kirsten. Now if I could just get my stylist to reproduce that hair cut.

Your china cabinet and photos of treasure hunting yesterday and today warm my heart. I always love to see what you and your sisters are finding.

Take it slowly Rosemary. Now you can take your time and arrange everything to your liking. I hope hubby is feeling better. Yes, we all get something.

Jeanne, I am so sorry your blog is under attack. That is what it feels like anyway.

    1. Hi Debbie,
I love that picture of you and Kirsten… you both were meant to be together!
I’m glad you are enjoying the pictures, Debbie,… and I think you’ll recognize another one of yours tomorrow! :o)
It does feel like an attack on my blog…and there’s nothing “I” can do about it. I wish I could take a class and become educated on how to fix things like this myself, instead of being dependent on Sarah… She has a busy life of her own…
      Thanks Debbie,
      Blessings, Jeanne

    2. Linda in St. Louis

So that’s you, Debbie! It’s nice to put a face to a name! You certainly do look young!

  7. Sissy Lingle on the GA coast

Jeanne, it really is wonderful that you have been able to save all these great photos! We are enjoying them, trying to remember who was whose. I love the Easter ones, Joy made and thanks for sending my Mae in her Easter outfit, one of my faves. Fun to see Debbie and Kirsten, I remember when Cindy redecorated your cabinet. The corn stalk doll in you picture reminded me of the ones my mom bought in NC. They are so cute.
I just got back from the “beauty parlor” as we used to call it.
I hope all can be fixed on your blog soon.

    1. HI Sissy,
I need to get in the shower and play “Beauty Parlor” on myself… Your little Mae in that pink Easter dress is so adorable… Isn’t it fun to see your dresses again… when you least expect it, they pop up! :o)
      Thanks Sissy,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  8. Debbie in North Carolina

I forgot to give Jeanne the credit for Kirsten’s beautiful floral pioneer dress and vintage lace apron. The fabrics are so soft and vintage looking, right out of the 1850’s.

    1. Thank you Debbie…
I’m so glad you are enjoying the dress set. I already found something blue and white for Kirsten’s next dress set… It may be coming soon.
      Blessings, Jeanne

  9. Barbara in SE Texas

I’m totally enjoying all the pictures and love that you came across my Maypole picture. I’m going to do that again next year using mainly my four RRFF Minis. They weren’t available for the last picture. I’ll use them and add my Heartstring dolls for the next one.

I have the outfit that is on Ten Ping. I love it. I also made a blouse for my Siblie Sydney from the blue flowered fabric you used for Bailey’s dress.

As soon as your picture situation is remedied, I will go ahead and send you some of the spring/summer pictures of things I’ve been working on. Missed Easter but figured I have a few months left for these before back-to-school.

Had a huge storm Monday night – all night – and another this morning, but the guys have been able to put in some good time on the storage building and it’s coming along nicely.

  10. I’m late, but I really have enjoyed seeing all these pictures, the last few days. I’ve recognized many by the background. Laura’s, Joy’s, several of Jeannie’s and some I wasn’t sure who they belonged too. It was nice to see Debbie from North Carolina holding her daughter’s doll and I hope Jeannie, you can find Joy’s pictures of her camping tent. That was the best.
Thank you for sharing all these pictures for us to enjoy.
