Are you still smiling at the dolly pictures? I hope so!

More pictures… again… Maybe my blog issues will be fixed soon.

This was Cindy’s dining room table after she took her Christmas ornaments off her tree…

This was her tree… she said it was so dry it just fell to pieces…

Probably my favorite picture from Rebecca and Karn’s wedding…

Rebecca was saying goodbye to Reuben and heading to Pennsylvania… with her hubby. I cried when I saw her talking to him…

Hope you enjoyed seeing today’s pictures,
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Oh, what a fun post this is! Christmas and wedding and remodeling…something for everyone!

I love the six AG dolls around the Christmas tree; they are all so beautifully dressed. I especially like Felicity’s and Kirsten’s dresses (and I have both of those girls, plus Molly and two of the modern girls). I’m assuming someone made them, as I don’t recall them from the catalogs. They’re lovely.

And the fur coats! Oh, you should do that again–those turned out so cute!! Also love the red plaid dress with the red cape (RRFF) as well as the three “sisters” dresses. My favorite of that trio is the red one, too. So festive!

Then there’s the classroom setting, and various other doll pictures, too.

Nice to see the wedding pictures again, and also your big kitchen remodel (and I think new flooring in the bedroom or sewing room???). That’s quite a while ago now, and it seems your kitchen must be just how you like it, as you haven’t mentioned changing anything in there in quite some time!

The dolly sleepover just tickled me, and it was fun to see the new baby, too. And your dear momma, and of course your fur “child”!!

All in all, a fun walk down memory lane for everyone, I think!

I’m laughing at myself for trying to figure out what or who that was on the floor watching tv with Reuben! I came to the conclusion that it was a boy doll! So I finally figured it out, it is George! 🤣 Well, he is your boy doll, I guess!

Oh my Cindy’s tree! How long does she keep it up? That’s why I have an artificial tree, two actually, since I like to keep mine up for awhile after Christmas and they don’t fall apart. However, we do get needles the ground, but nothing like that! That’s quite an array of ornaments on dining room table!

Well, where to begin? I see that Rebecca is featured in several pictures, and she is a beautiful girl! !

I love the .Christmas pictures, the dolls around the tree, the school scenes, and oh that beautiful red Christmas outfit on Rozen! I also love that soft, plush brownish coat and hat. Yes, you should do more of those, perhaps just fur around the sleeves and collar, plus a fur trimmed cape-let for a Victorian doll.

And I remember you remodeling Yur kitchen too! That was fun to see how you did it and how it turned out so nicely!

And Reuben! He snuck into several pictures as if to say, “I live here too!” What a darling little dog he is!

That last picture I recognize as Laura’s Anelle playing her violin so sweetly! Maybe this is the “swan song” of your pictures to make us smile?

  3. I love all of these pictures and also the explanations with some of them
The tree, your daughter is beautiful. Your husband is handsome, your mom is a doll, Reuben is so cute. I love all of the dolls.
I also am loving looking down memory lane, some I probably missed as I dropped off for a few years taking care of mom and dad.
Today I am moving stuff to the new house using my car, it is fun.
Tomorrow the piano movers are coming and I am so glad.
    Happy Thursday already!!!!

Such an enjoyable feast of photos today. Thanks so much for digging out all of those you’ve shown us recently, I know how much time it takes. Although, all of the photos are great today, I find that my favorite was the one of George and your mother with that special dove or maybe a German Owl? It is so moving.
Looks like my latest Meadow doll is arriving on Monday. Can’t wait to see her in person. Of course, this will mean a delivery. No plans yet as to how to sneak in this one. 🙂
Have to get in a walk soon and then water my seeds that are now popping up everywhere because it is going to be a scorcher here today. Probably have to water several times to keep everything in the yard happy. And tomorrow will be even warmer. Not looking forward to it at all. Way too hot.

Joy, wishing good luck on your Meadow arrival. I remember seeing her on Charlene’s FB page. I hoping for my red haired Angie to arrive today or tomorrow. Can’t wait!

Jeanne, what fun with these, I do remember many of them, loved seeing the wedding again, George on the new flooring, your sweet mom, and several of the doll outfits. I loved the school room photos, too. These were fun and I am so glad you have had things to fill in during this frustrating time for you. We can’t even send you any of ours! I hope you can get things fixed soon.

  6. Absolutely enjoyed the pictures of today! Rebecca is so pretty. Love the picture of her and Reuben and of course her wedding pictures with her husband and then George. And the babies!!!! Always so precious.

All the dollie pictures… fun. I love the kids at school- I like how it was set up.
One of my favorite outfits was the red plaid Christmacy one on Rosen. Not sure that’s her.
And I like how you ended with Laura’s Anaelle quietly playing her violin, so sweet.

More lovely photos! This walk down memory lane is really lovely.
Fun to see Cindy’s ornaments all spread out.
I think those are Sylvia’s gorgeous dolls on the table. All in gorgeous dresses she sewed for them. Anne’s gorgeous creation in purple. I love that Dicken’s style dress, hood, and capelet on Rozen that you made. Barbara’s sweet girls,, Rebecca’s beautiful wedding photos, the sleepover, Bithar’s little girl, George and the furbaby, George and your mom with the Old German Owl is lovely, another one of furbaby, my eyelashes comparison and yes, My Requiem (Anaelle) playing Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons – Spring”.

Laura, Coco, the cat we see at the other house, has been missing since she showed up Tuesday and was not her usual self. Lethargic and moving so slowly. She hadn’t been there Monday, which is also unusual. After trying to give her water of which she wasn’t interested, we watched her walk across the street and into some bushes there. She lives up the hill, but we’ve never met her owners. Other person thought she would be fine and probably had a tummy ache. I wasn’t so sure. Came back in the afternoon and called and called, but no kitty. Decided to try and contact the owner. Found her through Nextdoor and sent a message that Coco did not seem well. Got an answer back that she hadn’t been home either and that they would check her air tag and go looking. Didn’t hear back until later that they had not found her. So, we went up twice yesterday calling and looking, but other than what I thought might have been a slight meow, couldn’t find her. Found out that her last air tag beep was right at our house or across the street. Her owners were out until after 11:00 last night looking, but couldn’t find her. So, when I heard that this morning, we took off to look again. I was under some brush across the street calling when I heard that little faint meow. I looked up and she was very slowly trying to come across the street from the other corner. Of course a car was coming, so as I was running towards her, I flagged down the car which stopped, and I scooped up Coco, and carried her up the hill to home. First time I’ve ever picked her up. Why she didn’t come when her family was looking for her, don’t know. Of course, when I rang the bell, no one answered and there was another cat there. Coco, didn’t want to stay, but went into some bushes. At least she was home. So, I contacted her owner again and told her where to look. Next, message was thanking me for bringing Coco, home and that she was at the vet So, she isn’t out of the woods yet, and they are running tests. We’re hoping for her recovery. I was crying all morning before I found her and so was her owner. Had to share my cat tale with you.

Oh, Joy, I’m so glad that you found her!! You did just what I would have done by taking it upon yourself to find her. I sure hope she will recover also. Please keep me posted when you learn something.

More wonderful pictures. What a great picture of Reuben. He’s so adorable.
Rebecca and Karn look so sweet in their picture and the picture of Rebecca and George is priceless. So spontaneous and natural. The picture of George with your mom is so heartwarming. I’m glad you chose to post that one.

It always amazes me how natural the backdrops are for doll photography. I was fortunate to be able to buy a couple of the exact desks shown in the backdrop and when I put it all together it looks like a classroom with depth.

Cindy’s tree reminds me of the first Christmas tree I had here in Texas. In PA and DE we always had live trees and they lasted quite a while when watered. When I took down my first Christmas tree in Texas every needle fell off it. A real fire hazard and it was watered. After that it’s been artificial trees every year. I think I may be on my fifth or sixth one by now.

Love the pictures of Rebecca and Reuben. I know they miss each other bunches. It was fun seeing the fur coats and hats again. All the dolls look lovely in their holiday attire. It was fun seeing them all again. I hope you get your picture problem solved soon but this is a great substitute. I’ve been enjoying every minute.
