May all my family, friends, subscribers, seamstresses, doll lovers, and more, have a very Merry Christmas!
Thank you for being on this journey with me this past year. I hope you’ll stick around for 2022!
Merry Christmas and may the Lord bless you all abundantly!
See you Monday,
Blessings, Jeanne
A very merry, blessed and joyous Christmas to all the sofa sisters!!
Ron is doing quite well. We did find his little case with his driver’s license, etc., in his car. It was under the armrest, and once I swung that up out of the way, it was just right there!! He went to the barbershop (by himself) but it was closed. However, we did go out for dinner tonight.
Thanks again for all the prayers!
All my best wishes to all of you, and may 2022 be better for everyone!
Today, church and grandchildren!
Merry Christmas to Jeanne and all of us who love her and her work, wherever you are — peace, prosperity, love and happiness.
Merry Christmas Jeanne!!
One more Christmas story: When we were stationed in Japan, my oldest son came to visit at Christmas.. When we picked him up at Narita Airport, he was laughing so hard. He explained that he thought he might not have to listen to all the canned Christmas music while in Japan; however, blaring all over the terminal was “I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” sung by The Chipmunks 🐿 🐿 🐿!
Merry Christmas to Jeanne, her family and all of her acquaintances connected to I Dream of Jeanne!
Merry Christmas, Jeanne, and all of the sofa sisters. May you have a blessed day!
Merry Christmas, Jeanne, and to all my sofa sisters. I finally have everything accomplished and am waiting for Sean and family to show up for lunch and opening gifts. It has been a crazy two months but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. While David is not on his feet for any length of time just yet, he can stay on his feet more each day. Needless to say he’s over the moon about that. He says his knees are his Christmas and Birthday (January 6) presents this year. He turned down the idea of wrapping them. Says he’s glad for them to be out of the wrappings. Bows?
Merry Christmas Jeanne and Family and all the Sofa Sisters
May 2022 be an awesome year for all of you!
Jeanne the ‘mink’ coat and hat are lovely, I see it has 4 bids already and glad you sold the pink outfit. I would love an LD but way out of my price range and absolutely no where to put it at the moment.
Hope all of you have had (or a having) a wonderful day. It is Boxing Day morning here so all over for another year. (Now we have to plan for Ashley’s birthday on Wednesday!) It was very different for me this year normally it is just me and I have a fairly relaxed Christmas Eve, go to bed early, get up early send all my Merry Christmas messages and generally take my time getting ready to go to breakfast with my second son and everyone else. This year it was manic. Christmas Eve wasn’t nearly as relaxed as usual, didn’t get to bed till after midnight so woke up later than usual.
The weather was lovely this year. About 21C which is really nice, not too hot! After breakfast, and a video call with my sister in UK (who loved the blue sky and sunshine she could see) we exchanged gifts. This year we had a secret Santa which seemed to go down well. We are going to do it again next year anyway.
Sam had to buy for Darren (her brother) and what do you get not only for the person who has everything but also only buys the best for himself! She found a left-handed diary that she thought might be a funny present but, actually turned put to be a great idea, he loved it as regular diaries were a pain for him. Who knew! Those of us who live in a right-handed world have no idea of the difficulties left-handed people have to deal with. lol
After such a big breakfast we needed to let it settle so it was about 2.30 before we got our next meal and as usual we didn’t get to dessert so it is still waiting for us. Might have it tonight.
I got some nice gifts but a couple were very good. One was a DIY kit for making a bee hotel that included seeds for bee favourite flowers (hope it doesn’t include borage I put that in one year, it looks really messy and I am still trying to get rid of the seedlings, the bees did love it though) and I got the new Diana Gabaldon Outlander book so that will give me some reading material for a while!
I have to go it is now nearly 9.30 so must take the dog for a walk.
Have a lovely day
Merry Christmas Jeanne, and many blessings for the New Year!

Dear Jeanne, Merry Christmas to you and all of the Sofa Sisters. I am sure that everyone had her stockings filled with wonderful gifts and maybe even a doll or two.
