Patsy isn’t very happy with me! She thinks I goofed off too much today! NOT SO Miss Patsy! I just had things to do that came first..I can’t help it if I never made it into my sewing room until after 9:00 tonight… I think I even heard a little hmmpf from her!
When you last saw Patsy on Friday she looked like this..only with a bow around her waist.
I showed you her dress and her hat and a fun little resin Easter basket that will go along with this set…
BUT WAIT! I have a surprise under her dress…
It’s a fun polka dotted purple slip to hold her dress out, and it does a great job.
We got in the shoe drawer and Patsy picked out some white shoes to go with her NEW WHITE THIGH HIGHS! I got those made this evening…
Her dress still isn’t hemmed but I always do that last after I have sewn the snaps on the back. I’m taking it with me tomorrow when my hubby has treatment and hope I can work on it there. See if you can guess what this next picture is for…
Yep… you guessed right!
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
I hope today’s spa treatment goes smoothly for both of you.
I’m already looking forward to the embroidery you add to this already very cute dress. I hadn’t realized how small Patsy was until I saw her lined up with your other dolls. She makes the AGs look like giants. It also gives me a better idea of how cute this little dress is.
I’m still thinking of Rebecca’s wreath but I’ll bet you are right — there’s just no way to make them at a reasonable price and have them anywhere near as nice. I see so many patterns on Etsy — it might be worth considering an instruction kit for a version that would fit some sort of standard box.
Hi Marilyn,
We just got the go ahead from the dr that his labs were ok this week so it’s time to get started.
I hope I can get the embroidery finished while I’m here. Then I will just have to do the hem and take pics…
I don’t think Rebecca ever saw yesterday’s post…or if she did, she didn’t mind being in it.
Thanks Marilyn,
Blessings, Jeanne
Oh yes, embroidery on the lace!! That is a Jeanne Marie standard that adds the perfect touch! Are you using all those colors, or just one or two? Gee, that’s a tiny little dress, so cute!
The slip! You are getting fancier and fancier with your slips, Jeanne, and this one is just perfect for the dress! The very first thing I thought of when I saw the slip was—–jellybeans! Love it!
Getting ready for day 3 of our family visit! Hope the rain stays away after yesterday’s downpours! We played with puzzles yesterday, a nice rainy day activity, but I think it is time to do some sightseeing today!
Hope your day goes well!
Hi Linda,
Yes…gotta have that embroidery on the lace…as usual…
I’m not sure which colors I’ll use but just brought several with me since I’ll be away from home.
I think the dress reminded you of jellybeans too, didn’t it?
Well unless your weather is drastically different from ours, I think you’ll have to have some more inside things planned…but I do hope you get to go see a few things with the boys!
Blessings, Jeanne
Yes, I am the one who thought the print on the dress reminds me of jelly beans! I guess, in my mind, this will forever be “The Jellybean Dress” that Jeanne made!
Every time I think something can’t get any cuter, you make it cuter! I love Patsy’s new slip!! You can’t get any happier than polka-dots.
I bet the floss is for some of your special embroidery. It will be another special little touch.
Hope you have a good day.
Take care.
Hi Charlotte,
Thanks for your compliments on my polka dot slip. I think Patsy is a little happier with me now…
Just wait till she sees what I do with a needle and thread…
Thank you,
Blessings, Jeanne
Perplexed, pertrubed, PERFECTION! Tell Patsy she needs to practice her patience.
Can’t wait to see the embroidery.
Hope all goes well today.
Hi Joy,
Patsy saw me pack up her dress with all those skeins of embroidery floss and I “think” I saw her smile…just a little bit…she knows what’s coming…
Thanks Joy,
Blessings, Jeanne
