I thought I would announce the winners of the fingerless gloves first thing…then you can read the post. As you know, I make stretch lace, fingerless gloves for the American Girl dolls and today I am announcing the winners of my Giveaway…I had 77 subscribers from which to draw…and I asked Rebecca to pick out the two winners…
Each subscriber was assigned a number in the order they joined my blog. The drawing was randomly done. Rebecca picked out number 9 and number 44.
The winners are Ellen…(auntmoo…) and Kathy I…(kjiso…)! CONGRATULATIONS on your win! If you would like a white pair or an ivory pair, or maybe something else, let me know. I’ll send you an email soon to get your address. You can look in our Etsy shop (HERE) and let me know how you’d like them decorated…pearls, ribbons, buttons, etc. Or if you want me to surprise you, I can do that too! I’ll get them out to you as soon as possible. Thanks to EVERYONE for being a subscriber to my blog. I hope you’ll all win something sometime!!
Now to some pictures…My sister was so kind to go to the Dollie & Me Outlet store there in Gettysburg, PA and take lots of pictures of the cute shoes I was talking about in THIS post. I thought I would show you some of them so you wouldn’t think I was exaggerating when I said they were cute. I’ll give you the Outlet Store number but I’m not sure it will do any good. These aren’t Dollie & Me brand shoes, but just some they have in their store from another manufacturer. They fit the American Girl dolls. I’m not sure they will ship out to anyone, but I had this day-dreamy idea in my head that they would be swamped with ladies from my blog calling them asking about the shoes, and then they’d figure out a way to ship them to you. From the price tages on the boxes, it looks like they are $8.00. Their phone number is 717-398-2717. Who knows what might happen…
After studying the pictures my sister sent me, I noticed some shoes had AFW on them. I did a little investigating on the internet and discovered the shoes come from American Fashion World based in Naples, Florida. This is their website…(HERE)
They don’t sell retail, but only in bulk to businesses, so this may be a lost cause… We’ll just have to admire the shoes from afar!
These little pink patent leather looking mary janes come in black and white too.
See, aren’t they cute?
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
Wow! A whole retail store dedicated to the AG dolls that’s not an American Girl Place store. The AG dolls get all the good stuff. I don’t know of any stores like that around here in northern IL. How about by you?
Congrats to your lucky fingerless glove winners!
Hi Cindy,
The outlet store isn’t actually a store of American Girl things… they just sell the shoes that fit the AG dolls. Their main focus in on little girl outfits and as a bonus you get an 18″ doll outfit to match. But I wouldn’t call it an American Girl store. There are NO doll related stores here in southern Illinois either. We need someone to start a dolly store close to each of us!
Blessings, Jeanne
Congrats to the winners of your fingerless gloves! Those shoes are adorable..to bad they don’t sell them online.
Hi Regina,
I was sort of disappointed that the shoes weren’t readily available to buy too. It would have been fun to have had a few of them to go with some of my outfits.
Blessings, Jeanne
Harmony Club on-line carries some of the cute little pairs of shoes. Jeanne’s sister got the cutest ones of all for her. Nice to have a personal shopper, Jeanne.
Hi Susette,
Yes, it is nice to have family shoppers all over the country for me. My sister in PA is so great about finding “dolly” things for me!
I’ll have to check out Harmony Club.
Blessings, Jeanne
OMGosh I am so excited to have won your beautiful gloves! Thank you so much. And boy do I wish those darling shoes and boots were available online. Browsing through your pictures just made me drool more and more. I think my favorite pair is the pink boots with fur. !
Yes Ellen, you are the winner! You left me a message that you’d like a pair of black or brown, but I don’t know how you would like them decorated… just let me know…
Blessings, Jeanne
