I’m going to try very hard to keep sewing for a few more days, but if I’m ever going to get my Christmas tree up, and my house even somewhat decorated, I’m going to have to make this a short post…I worked most of today on this pretty dress but wanted to tease you a bit with some “obscure” pictures that will hopefully send you to Ebay looking for it.
Here are just a few hints…
Is it a Civil War dress…
…in a pretty red plaid….
…I see a little bit of gold…
….there’s something black too…
….it might have feathers….
…Okay, enough teasing… if you’d like to see the completed dress, click on the picture of the dress at the right side bar and it will take you directly to the listing on Ebay. It runs for 5 days and ends on Tuesday evening…
I hope you like it!
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
BE U TI FUL ! Love the Christmas plaid you chose and the detail…perfect for the season. Happy dance, happy dance !!! Another perfect creation! Love Rebecca’s story – such a personal touch and fun to read.
The purple gown and pink print dresses from yesterday are gorgeous also. So sweet. Would love to wear them myself.
We girls appreciate your efforts to continue bringing us these lovely outfits.
Have a great blessed day!
Thank you very much Paula,
I’m glad you liked it… and I’d love to see that Happy Dolly Dance going on…
I am going to try and make one more dress if possible… my calender is booking up
fast and I’m not certain, but I’m going to give it my best shot.
Blessings and Merry Christmas to you,
~ Jeanne
Oh, gorgeous, Jeanne! These are the kind of dresses I love to see you make, and would buy if I was a tad richer! I just love everything about it, and the fur cape—beautiful! That plaid is just so Christmasy and rich looking! Only in my dreams would I be able to make something like that!
HI Linda,
Thanks so very much for your compliments… these kinds of dresses are my favorites too!
Maybe I should just stick with what I know and love!
Thank you so much for being such a faithful reader…
Merry Christmas, Jeanne
