The weather here in Southern Illinois took a dip into the freezing zone last night and I found my “girls” all huddled together this morning on the dolly shelf…(not really, but I thought that was a good intro line for this blog post.) I thought it would be fun to show some warmer outfits in keeping with the 30 degree weather. We didn’t have snow like the very northern part of Illinois did, but I know it’s coming…and I wish Fall could stay with us a little longer…
Here’s Katie Effanbee in a couple of corduroy outfits…
Elizabeth is pretending to be Julie in this “mod” bell bottom set…
Addy is looking pretty in a new wintery long sleeve dress…
My blonde Bitty Bethany looks beautiful in this navy print pinwale corduroy dress…
Millie, by Kaye Wiggs is all dressed up in her camo with a hint of pink set…
One of my oldest and sweetest dresses I’ve made… Molly in a sweet navy and red set.
…and Riley, by Helen Kish is my littlest sweetie dressed up in a purple corduroy coat set.
I hope looking at these outfits “warmed” you up a bit…
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
I’m up way too early on this first day of Standard Time! Just want to comment on how cute all the clothes are and how they look so fall-like! Brrr, it is more like winter here and my flowers that I have left have gone kaput!
HI Linda,
Yes, I’d say most flowers by now are kaput! I’m not ready for the colder weather yet! I wish Fall could be a really long season like it seems that summer is. That would be my choice! I guess when it gets REALLY cold then I’ll have something to complain about.. but not yet!
Blessings, Jeanne
Jeanne,
All of the little outfits are so cute. It is getting cooler here, not freezing. But we will have some of those days. All of my violets are blooming, I didn’t tell them winter is coming…
Judi
Hi Judi,
Thanks for the compliments on my doll outfits. It’s remarkably colder here today but still a pretty day with all the leaves turning. That’s a good idea not to tell your flowers cold weather is coming…
Blessings, Jeanne
