The next doll up for a new Christmas dress is my sweet Nyssa, by Kaye Wiggs. She was the doll who came in second place when you all voted last week. I haven’t even thought about what she’ll be wearing for Christmas this year, so I better get to thinking on that.
In the mean time, I thought I should get a few more pictures of some doll dresses on here…I have plenty still to show…
Anyway, here are some Christmas dresses for today:
First up is my 16″ Four Seasons doll by Helen Kish…
Next up is Addy in a dress I called “Glimmer of Glamour” and a few others.
Bitty Bethany has a few to share too…
Well, I hope these hold you over till tomorrow! Everybody…stay warm!!!
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
Nyssa’s and Addy’s dresses are just beautiful. The holly on the collar of Nyssa’s dress with the red sash is gorgeous. All of Addy’s dresses are spectacular! Each one can be pictured in different scenes as Addy or other girls, go about there day, especially at Christmas time. There is something about the last one, the print and that beautiful lace. It
reminds me of a elegant dress worn in one of the “Christmas Carol” movies. The dresses are all so beautiful, the detail stunning. The first one Addy has on is that beautiful print….oh my, and the second one….Better stop here or this note will become a thesis !!
HI Paula,
Actually, that first doll shown isn’t Nyssa… she’s a 16″ doll by Helen Kish. She was from the Four Seasons Collection and she was the “Fall” doll.
I talked about Nyssa being up next, but I haven’t gotten her dress made yet.
I thought you’d like these Civil War dresses… I love the big skirted dresses and sometimes wish that would have been a nice time to live in… (sometimes I think that…)
Thanks for taking a look, Paula,
Blessings, Jeanne
They are all spectacular! Your work is so nice. You should have been a designer…lol
Judi
HI Judi,
My major was Apparel Design in college… I guess I just never thought I’d be a “designer” to the dolls!!! But I love it I think more than people clothes!!! I have so much fun doing what I do!
