I wasn’t personally affected by the tragedies on September 11th, 2001. I didn’t know any of the faces that were shown on the TV, however, I cried like I knew them…for days and days. Every face was a brother or a sister or a father or a mother… someone important that touched many other lives and whose life was cut short. My heart goes out to everyone who suffered then and is still struggling with it all today. I can only say how sorry I am for the loss you’ve gone through and just wanted to ask the Lord to hold you especially tight in His arms today!
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
Thank you Jeanne, Good word!
Thank you, Jeanne for your beautiful acknowledgement of the 9/11 tragedy. I too did not
know anyone personally who died that day in NYC or PA. However, like most Americans, my family has been affected by the attacks against our country. God Bless all those who suffered that day and for those who continue to suffer their loss. God Bless all those who answered the call to stand in the face of an enemy. God Bless all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Continued prayers for those who suffer the after effects of their dedicated service for my freedom.
It is my prayer that I, as an American, will live a life that is worthy of their sacrifices.
Jeannie,
Thank you for your poetic words… I wondered what and what not to write, and edited and edited, but finally just let my heart do the talking. Your words are so true…and I too, am so blessed that I live in America, the strongest nation on earth, with the strongest people on earth. May we never forget what so many gave that day and since then. My prayer is that I never take for granted what freedoms I have at the moment. I pray that my life can be a reflection of my Heavenly Father and be a vessel for what He asks me to be.
Thank you Jeannie,
Blessings, Jeanne
